Don't Sell Your Soul For Little Happiness
The term “soul” refers to something larger than the “heart.” While the "heart" is mainly focused on love, the SOUL refers to an individual's whole personality and life in general π
There is some little voice inside that tells us what we already know is right or wrong. Unfortunately for some, when it is talking, they aren’t listening. And that’s when the trouble begins. Whether in our personal life or business life, it’s important to listen to that little voice.
The chief query of the immature, greedy, selfish, and sensuous has always been, "What's in it for me? Will this please me? Will it ease me?" Lately many people seem to want these pleasures without sense of responsibility, even abandoning or utterly neglecting spouses and children in the name of doing their thing.
But independence is not the most mature state of being - it's only a middle position on the way to interdependence, the most advanced and mature state.
People sell their soul in such small quantities or just for little bit of happiness or for temporary pleasure that they don't realize what they're doing until it is too late.”
We need to stay true to who we are, not get sucked into a ‘world’ which doesn’t exist and mostly make ourselves happy with those who love us and invest in us personally so we can return the love.
There is nothing more valuable than a person’s soul. So never Sell your Soul for Little Happiness π
